The occupiers hit power facility in Sumy region: emergency services are working at the impact site

On the night of July 20, the Russians launched another attack on Ukraine. Sumy region, in particular, came under fire, and there are reports of hits.

In Konotop district, the invaders hit an energy facility, and emergency services are working at the site. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

"On the night of July 20, the enemy attacked the energy infrastructure facility in Konotop district using a Shahed UAV. All necessary services are working at the site. Emergency repair work is underway," the statement said.

It is not known how many kamikaze drones the invaders used to attack the region that night. However, at least one Shahed, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, was destroyed by air defense forces over the region.

"The consequences of the enemy attack are being eliminated. Take care of yourselves and your families and do not ignore air raid alarms," the regional administration said.

Earlier, it was reported that on the night of July 20, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles.

In addition to Sumy region, Poltava region also suffered: civilian infrastructure was hit there. In Kyiv, however, drones was shot down, but the wreckage fell in one of the capital's districts. As of 6 a.m., information on the consequences and possible victims was being clarified.
