"The occupiers can only terrorize civilians": Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to Russia's massive missile attack on Ukraine

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reacted to another war crime by Russia, which launched a massive drone and missile attack on Ukraine on the night of March 9. He emphasized that the aggressor launched 81 missiles of various types and launched kamikaze drones to terrorize civilians.

"It's been a difficult night. A massive rocket attack across the country. Kyiv, Kirovograd, Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia regions. Attacks on critical infrastructure and residential buildings," the President said.

He added that there were dead and injured as a result of the actions of Russian terrorists. Zelenskyy expressed his condolences to the victims' families.

According to the President, all services were working at the sites of enemy strikes. The country was also restoring the energy system, as restrictions were imposed in all regions.

"The enemy fired 81 missiles in an attempt to intimidate Ukrainians again, returning to their miserable tactics. The occupiers can only terrorize civilians. That's all they can do. But it won't help them. They won't avoid responsibility for everything they have done," Zelenskyy wrote.

The President thanked the guardians of the Ukrainian sky and everyone who helped to overcome the consequences of the occupiers' sneaking attacks.

Since the night of March 9, Russia has been massively attacking Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones and missiles, which has resulted in strikes to power facilities, injuries and deaths. In particular, there have been reports of missile hits in Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, a missile falling and killing people in the Lviv region, and a complete blackout at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

During this attack, Ukrainian defenders shot down 34 Russian cruise missiles and four Iranian-made kamikaze drones, which the occupiers attacked a number of regions with.
