The occupiers attacked Odesa region with 25 kamikaze drones at night: Air Defense Forces destroyed 22 targets, but some of them hit port infrastructure

Ukrainian Air Defense Forces repelled a massive attack of Russian kamikaze drones on Odesa Region on the night of September 3. 22 targets out of 25 were destroyed.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the AFU. It is known that several UAVs hit the frontline infrastructure.

It is noted that the Russian occupiers launched several waves of Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs on Sunday night. The drones flew from the southern and southeastern directions (Crimean Chauda Cape and the Russian town of Primorsko-Akhtarsk).

In total, 25 attack drones were launched, which attacked the southern districts of the Odesa region.

"22 of them were destroyed by the Air Forces in cooperation with the Air Defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. We hold the sky! Together to victory!" the AF of the AFU said.

According to the head of the public council at the Odesa RMA Serhiy Bratchuk, unfortunately, a UAV hit the port infrastructure, resulting in a fire, which rescuers promptly eliminated. It is known about two injured civilians, who received medical assistance.

The head of the Odesa RMA Oleh Kiper added that Russian terrorists' attack on civilian infrastructure in the south of the region lasted 3.5 hours that night. Two civilian employees of the port were injured.

"They are hospitalized. All relevant services are working on the site. Law enforcement agencies are recording the consequences of RF crimes," the official said.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Russia attacked the south of the Odesa region with drones on the night of August 23. The Air Defense forces managed to destroy nine targets but some of them hit production and transshipment complexes.

The aggressor country attacked Ukraine with four missiles of different types and kamikaze drones on the night of August 25. They were trying to hit the port infrastructure of the Odesa region again. The defenders of our sky did not allow this, shooting down all five enemy targets.
