Ukraine's victory in the war against the Russian invaders is not only the liberation of all the territories occupied by the enemy. It is the complete defeat of the Russian army, bringing it to such an exhaustion that it could no longer carry out such aggression.

This was stated in the program "Panyuta. Results" program, the head of the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Defense, Ilarion Pavliuk, said. He referred to the history that has repeatedly shown the ability of imperial Russia to attack weaker states.

"Ukraine's victory is not just Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders. It is a defeated Russian army that has neither the will nor the strength to attack us again. Russia attacks when it can. And compromises with the aggressor do not work, because Russia uses them to accumulate forces and attack again," the defense ministry expert said.

At the same time, Pavliuk categorically refused to make predictions about the options for winning this terrible war. In his opinion, absolutely all options today are extremely destructive.

"The Ukrainian army still has an extremely large share of the Soviet heritage. We need to get rid of it as soon as possible. And this process should go hand in hand with the introduction of NATO standards," the official is convinced.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, President Zelensky called on Ukrainians to remember the need to support the frontline every day. Each of us should not just wait for the soldiers to win, but do everything every day to make Ukraine stronger and to increase our common opportunities.
