He lost his nerve. Fury staged a demarche after the defeat of Usyk. Video
Former world champion Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) refused to talk to the press after his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 14 KOs). After a crushing defeat, the Briton defiantly left the ring, ignoring traditional post-match interviews.
This behavior raised questions among fans and experts who were expecting at least a brief comment from Fury.
The video of Tyson's departure quickly spread online. The footage shows the disappointed boxer heading to the locker room without waiting for his turn at the microphone.
Fans took Fury's action as a demonstration of weakness and inability to accept defeat with dignity. At the same time, his fans urged him not to condemn the athlete, believing that he was simply overwhelmed by the outcome of the fight.
