After Oleksandr Usyk's victory over Tyson Fury, his friend and godfather Vasyl Lomachenko commented on the result in Russian. He wrote on his social media, translated: "Thank God! A legend! No questions! Peace to all," expressing his admiration for his compatriot's achievement and emphasizing his status as a boxing legend.

The fight, which became one of the most anticipated events of the year, went the full distance of 12 rounds and ended in favor of Usyk. The Crimean fighter demonstrated incredible accuracy and technique, thanks to which he retained his championship titles.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of Sunday, December 22, in the ring in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury for the second time. The seventh fight of the Ukrainian in the super-heavyweight division ended with a victory on the scores of 116:112, 116:112, 116:112.
