After twelve rounds of intense confrontation between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, the computerized system for evaluating punches in martial arts CompuBox has published detailed punch statistics. The Ukrainian demonstrated high accuracy and an effective strategy in the ring, which helped him retain his championship belts.

Usyk was significantly ahead of his opponent in terms of punching accuracy. Our compatriot managed to hit 179 out of 423 attempts (42.3%), while Fury managed to reach the goal only 144 times in 509 thrown punches (28.3%).

Usyk also came out on top in the power punching category. He had 106 accurate hits (including 46 to the body) in 211 attempts. Fury, despite his size and strength, responded with 100 accurate power punches out of 252 thrown, which was 39.8%.

As for the jabs, the Ukrainian champion was again the best. Usyk landed 73 accurate jabs (34.6%), while the Briton managed to land 44 accurate punches in this category (17.5% accuracy). This difference played a key role in allowing Oleksandr to control the distance and rhythm of the fight.

The final statistics confirmed Usyk's superiority and explained the judges' unanimous decision in his favor. The Ukrainian once again proved that his technique and tactics remain at the highest level.
