The Ministry of Defense is conducting unscheduled inspections of the TCR and warehouses with products: Umerov reports first results

Umerov spoke about the inspection of TCRs and food warehouses

The Ministry of Defense is conducting unscheduled inspections of territorial centers for recruitment and social support (TCRs and SS) and food warehouses in military units. Many violations are being recorded.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced the results of the inspections on Facebook. He noted that non-delivery of food worth more than UAH 50 million was detected.

"Based on the results of the previous visit last week, the Ministry of Defense changed the supplier for some military units," the Defense Minister said.

According to him, the Defense Ministry team is also working on systematic correction of the shortcomings identified in the TCRs and SS.

Earlier, Umerov said that draft law No. 10062 on the automatic acquisition of the status of a combatant and the creation of a unified electronic register of persons liable for military service would allow the army to speed up information exchange. Services and processes for military personnel will be transferred to a convenient digital format. The law will be implemented on time.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny justified the need to strengthen mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence. They voiced a simple truth: if conscription is not strengthened, there will be no one to defend the country.
