The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine: explosion in Dzhankoi destroyed Russian Kalibr-NK cruise missiles during transportation by rail

Russian "Kalibr" cruise missiles were destroyed in Dzhankoi during their transportation

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported that Russian Kalibr-NK cruise missiles were destroyed during explosions in the Russia-occupied city of Dzhankoi in Crimea. "Cotton" ("bavovna") occurred during their transportation by rail.

The explosions in Dzhankoi were heard on the evening of Monday, March 20. The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine stated this in a message on Telegram.

"The mysterious "bavovna" continues the process of demilitarization of Russia and prepares the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea for de-occupation," the intelligence emphasized.

They noted that the Kalibr-NK are missiles designed to be launched from surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The range of such weapons is more than 2,500 kilometers on land targets and 375 kilometers on sea targets.

It should be noted that around 9:00 p.m. on March 20, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoi in Crimea. According to preliminary reports, drones attacked the railroad - one of the supply routes of the Russian army. Explosions were also recorded near the military airbase.

Several more explosions were allegedly heard in the vicinity of the military camp. The occupation "authorities" of the Ukrainian peninsula reported on the "successful work of the air defense system" and damage to power grids. All the details of the "cotton" in Dzhankoi are in the material.

Explosions on the railroad were recorded by local residents. Attention, the video contains profanity.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, the Crimean peninsula, which Russia has turned into a huge military base over the years of occupation, is being intensively prepared for defense against a counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
