The enemy launched "Kinzhals", "Kalibrs" and "Shaheds" at Ukraine at night, air defense was working: details

On the night of June 27, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type kamikaze drones, launching them from the south. Then they launched Kalibr cruise missiles and ballistic missiles.

Air alert lasted all night in most regions, and according to the Ukrainian Air Force, air defense was operating in the regions. In the morning, 23 drones and five missiles were reported destroyed.

The first "Shaheds" were heading through the Kherson region towards Mykolaiv/Kryvyi Rih district.

As of 23:00 on Wednesday, UAVs were moving in Mykolaiv region and in the Black Sea towards southern Odesa region.

At 23:40, several groups of UAVs in Mykolaiv region were moving northwest. A UAV was also spotted flying through Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district heading for Odesa district.

The UAV's course as of 00:30:

- from Odesa region in the direction of Vinnytsia region;

- from Mykolaiv region in the direction of Odesa and Kirovohrad regions;

- in the Kryvyi Rih district of Dnipropetrovs'k region in the east.

As of 02:15, the alert was announced in most regions. In addition to the "Shaheds" moving to the west of Ukraine, the occupiers launched "Kalibr" cruise missiles.

At 02:50, the Air Force reported the takeoff of a MiG-31K fighter jet that launched hypersonic Kinzhal missiles .

The high-speed targets were moving through Zhytomyr region in a southwestern direction. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and Khmelnytsky regions.

Later, a missile threat was announced from the north - a missile was heading through Sumy region towards Poltava region. Residents of Myrhorod and Poltava were urged to take cover.

Meanwhile, one group of Shaheds was moving toward Starokostiantyniv, and another in the south of Vinnytsia region was heading west. Drones were also spotted flying northwest in the Cherkasy region.

At 04:34, the Air Force announced a missile threat in Odesa region.

The air alert due to the threat of attack UAVs for regions other than Odesa was canceled at 05:15. There were reports of explosions in Khmelnytsky region.

Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported the destruction of 28 out of 29 targets in the morning - all but the Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal air-to-air missile. In particular, the defenders of the sky shot down four Kalibr cruise missiles, one Kh-59/Kh-69 air-to-air missile and 23 Shaheds.

On the afternoon of June 26, Russian troops attacked the town of Dergachi, Kharkiv district, with anti-aircraft missiles. Nine people, including three children, were injured in the attack on the private sector.
