The enemy is using all available forces and means for the offensive: the General Staff named the hottest areas

Since the beginning of the day, as of 16:00 on Thursday, September 19, 95 combat engagements have taken place in the frontline in Ukraine. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, where it is using all available forces and means, but its plans are being thwarted by Ukrainian defenders, who are inflicting irreparable losses on the occupiers.

This is stated in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As noted, the situation at the front is characterized by the enemy's particular activity in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.

There, the enemy uses all available forces and means to achieve its goals.

"But our stalwart defenders stand in the way of the occupiers' plans, who, in extremely difficult conditions, inflict irreparable losses on the enemy with their professional actions, destroying it on land, in water, and the air," the report says.

During the day, several settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions suffered from enemy terrorist attacks, the General Staff informed.

In particular, the enemy shelled Mykolaivka, Bobylivka, Riasne, Progres, Zhuravka, and Vilna Sloboda with artillery; Yastrubyne, Pavlivka, Kekyne, Rudneve, Richka, and Velyka Rybytsia were hit by air strikes.

The enemy also carried out 11 air strikes on the territory of Kursk region, using 14 UAVs.

In the Kharkiv sector, the occupants attempted to storm the defensive lines of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Vovchansk once.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy actively attacked the positions of our troops four times in the vicinity of Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, and Hlushkivka, one firefight is ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold steadfastly the defense.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian army launched seven attacks on Ukrainian positions near Makiivka, Cherneshchyna, Nevske, and Torske. Five engagements ended without success for the enemy, two more are ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, near Verkhniekamianske, Ivan-Dariivka, and Vyimka, Ukrainian troops repelled three attacks by the occupying army, and four more attacks are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders attacked near Kurdiumivka. The enemy attack was repelled.

The number of hostile attacks in Toretsk increased to seven. The enemy concentrated its efforts in the areas of Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Nelipivka, where four combat engagements took place, three attacks are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, the occupants, with the support of aviation, have made 22 attempts to push Ukrainian troops from their positions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretsk, Hrodivka, Myroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Novohrodivka, and Marynivka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have so far repelled 16 enemy attacks, with six attacks still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.

In the Kurakhove sector, fighting continues near Tsukuryno, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Katerynivka. According to the updated information, 13 out of 36 attacks of the occupation army were repelled in this area today. Fierce fighting continues.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, stormed the positions of our units four times near Vuhledar, Rivnopole, and Katerynivka. Two firefights are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the occupants made three attempts to attack our units near Piatykhatky and in the direction of Novoandriivka. Also, the army of the aggressor country fired at Kamianske with unguided aerial missiles.

In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy launched an air strike near Mykolaivka, Kherson region. The invader also keeps trying to drive our units out of their positions, thus, today they carried out three attacks, and one firefight is still ongoing.
