The massive attack on Ukraine by the occupiers on March 21 cost Russia $390 million. The main target was Kyiv, but all the missiles were shot down by Ukrainian defenders.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy attacked with two types of missiles. These included two Iskander-M ballistic/aeroballistic missiles and 29 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles.

According to Forbes, the X-101 missile is estimated at about $13 million per unit. The occupiers have fired 29 such missiles at the territory of Ukraine, which means their total cost is approximately $377 million.

The X-47 "Kinzhal" hypersonic missile can cost from $10 million per unit, but this price can be even higher.

In addition, Iskander-M ballistic missiles, although less expensive than other types, can cost up to $3 million per unit.

Given all these factors, the massive attack on Kyiv on the night of March 21 cost Russia at least $390 million.

Earlier it was reported that on the morning of Thursday, March 21, during a large-scale Russian missile attack, powerful explosions were heard in Kyiv and nearby in the region. Air defense forces were working to destroy enemy targets, but the falling debris caused damage and injured more than 10 people.

Also, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the new Russian attack and called for more air defense systems to be provided to Ukraine. He said that Ukrainians and the country's partners must show that Russian terror is always a loser.
