Mariia-Khrystyna knew no fear and selflessly risked her life

Mariia-Khrystyna Dvoinik, a brave volunteer medic with the Hospitallers battalion, known by her call sign Alpaca, died at the front. It happened on Wednesday, November 13, during the evacuation of the wounded.

This was reported by Yana Zinkevych, MP from the "European Solidarity" faction, a volunteer medic and founder of the Hospitallers paramedic battalion. "Yesterday, our sister Alpaca, Mariia-Khrystyna's double, tragically died while going to evacuate the wounded," the statement reads.

It is noted that Mariia-Khrystyna did not know fear and selflessly risked her life to save her brothers. Her dedication and willingness to help have always been an example for others. This loss was an irreparable blow to the battalion, as Alpaca was a pillar of strength for many. Everyone who knew her will remember her bright smile, open heart, and unbreakable spirit.

"Her heart was always open to anyone who needed help. This death is a terrible blow to our battalion. May our brave sister Alpaka's memory be eternal. She left behind warm memories that will live on in our hearts. Her feat will never be forgotten. We bow for every life saved in this war. Heroes die saving others. Honor," said Zinkevych.

Details of the funeral will be announced later. Also, anyone who wants to support her family can join the fundraiser.

Details to help the family:

We would like to remind you that a soldier from Bukovyna, Andrii Pustovalov, was killed in the battles for Ukraine. He was defending his native land in the Special Operations Forces. He fought his last battle in the Kursk region and would have turned 31 in December.

As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, Vitalii Viunnyk, a grenade launcher of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss," was killed in the battles against the Russian invaders. The defender was only 25 years old. The soldier's life ended on November 11 in the Donetsk region.

On the left bank of the Kherson region, sailor Mykhailo Melnyk from the Lviv region was killed. He was a sniper scout, and his life was cut short a little over a week before his 35th birthday.
