A traitorous policeman was blown up in the center of Melitopol

On the morning of Thursday, April 27, a loud explosion occurred in the center of temporarily occupied Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia. There, an explosive went off near the entrance of an apartment building, causing a local police collaborator to go to a "Kobzon concert".

The new explosions were reported by the current mayor of the Ukrainian city, Ivan Fedorov, in his Telegram channel. He later confirmed the liquidation of the traitor cop - Alexander Mishchenko (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the news).

"A non-quiet morning in Melitopol. A single explosion is heard in the very center of the city. What the occupants are blowing up this time, we are finding out," the official first wrote.

At the same time, local residents reported a probable explosion in the center of the city. According to RIA-Melitopol, the explosion occurred around 05:20 Thursday

"By the nature of the sound, it sounds like an explosion. We are waiting for details," the message says.

Eyewitnesses stressed that the "bavovna" occurred in the area of the house on the street of Heroes of Ukraine, 67. A motorcade of ambulances, police and fire brigade rushed in that direction.

"At about 04:00, gunshots were heard. The details of this morning's explosion are still being investigated, - the media added.

Later, the occupation "administration" of Melitopol stated that "at approximately 05:15 in the city, near the entrance of an apartment building on Kirov Street, an explosion was heard.

The invaders also confirmed preliminary information in the Ukrainian media that an improvised explosive device had gone off there. According to them, one person was injured - he was hospitalized.

"RIA-Melitopol" noted that in the fifth entrance of the house number 67 on the street of Heroes of Ukraine, probably "blew up a traitor police officer" - 42-year-old Alexander Mishchenko. The occupation "authorities" had appointed him as the so-called head of the Priazovsky police department.

"In what condition he is, now unknown. We hope he's at the Kobzon's concert already," commented in the network.

In the meantime, Russian blogs reported that the bombed Alexander Mishchenko had been eliminated. This was also confirmed by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov in a TV marathon.

"Minus another Kremlin traitor. The morning of one of Melitopol's collaborators began with a loud ticket to the hospital. The explosion, which was heard by residents of the central part of Melitopol at 05:20, occurred at the entrance of an apartment building on 67 Heroes of Ukraine Street," he noted.

The city mayor added that a "hospital discharge" was issued to one of the leaders of the occupation police, who betrayed Ukraine and defected to the side of the enemy. According to him, as a result of the "bavovna." Mishchenko died in hospital.

"The path of every collaborator is predictable: yesterday treason, today panic, tomorrow reprisal," Fedorov stressed.

What is known about the collaborator Alexander Mishchenko?

Before the war, the native of Melitopol lived in the village of Stepanovka Pervaya, Priazovsky district. In 2021, he was deputy head of the monitoring sector of the Melitopol District Police Department of the Zaporizhzhia region.

According to evocation.info, after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, the law enforcer defected to the side of the aggressor and began to voluntarily cooperate and assist the Russian Armed Forces. He was engaged in organizing the mass transfer of police officers to the side of the occupiers.

In addition, he offered a large sum of money, ranks, and promotion in the law enforcement bodies of the "people's police" for switching and giving important information.

"He threatened to kill me if I refused to join and assist the occupation administration. He was engaged in the search and extradition of local activists, patriots and participants of the ATO/OSS to the Russian Federal Security Service," the material says.

Also, the collaborator Mishchenko actively sought people willing to work at the "polling stations" during the so-called referendum. It was noted that he closely cooperated and provided protection to the "acting mayor of Melitopol" Galina Danilchenko.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the invaders around Melitopol for three consecutive days were haunted by troubles. On April 20-22, they lost a helicopter near Kirillivka, then they missed the Tor man-portable air defense system in the district center, and a day later they lost a Russian diesel locomotive with fuel in the Melitopol depot.

On April 26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces gave the occupants a "bavovna" on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region. The defenders destroyed a large amount of the invaders' military equipment with precise strikes.
