SC "South" explains why the occupiers keep missile launchers in the bay

Russian ships: is there a threat of shelling Ukraine?

In the Black Sea, as of the morning of November 11, the missile carriers of the Russian occupation forces were not put on alert due to the storm. However, the enemy can launch missiles from ships even in the bay, so the level of missile danger in Ukraine remains quite high.

This was stated by the head of the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk. She spoke on Channel 24 (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).

According to the Southern Defense Forces and the Ukrainian Navy, there were four Russian warships in the Black Sea and one in the Sea of Azov. The enemy's missile carriers were brought to their basing points due to bad weather.

"The sea is very restless. It is on our side and does not allow missile carriers to perform combat missions," said Humeniuk.

Despite the danger to their own crew and the infrastructure around them, the enemy is able to use the missile launchers directly from the bays. According to the representative of the South Command, such cases have already been recorded by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

"That is why the General Staff always assesses the missile threat from the sea at a high level," she added.
