Russian troops attacked Poltava region and hit a private house: a woman was rescued from the rubble
On the afternoon of June 7, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the Poltava region. Civilian infrastructure in the Poltava district came under fire, and a private house was hit. A woman was rescued from the rubble and hospitalized in a critical condition.
This was reported by Philip Pronin, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration. "Russians shelled civilian infrastructure in Poltava district. According to preliminary information, a private house was hit," he wrote on his official Telegram channel.
Later, Pronin informed that a woman was rescued from the rubble of the destroyed house and hospitalized in serious condition.
"The rocket fragments also damaged the surrounding houses. The rescue operation is ongoing," said the head of the RMA from the scene.
The air alert in Poltava region was announced from 14:51 to 15:26.
The reason was the activity of Russian tactical aviation in the northeastern direction and the threat of using air strikes, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
At 15:08, the Air Force reported that a missile was moving through the Sumy region in the direction of the Poltava region.
The sound of the explosion was heard by residents of the Poltava community around 15:15, reports Suspilne.
