Russian occupants suffer abnormally high losses in the Avdiivka sector - source

Russian troops continue their offensive in the Avdiivka sector. They managed to achieve some success only north of Avdiivka.

However, these successes are accompanied by abnormally high losses: over the past two weeks, the Russian army has lost almost 13 thousand soldiers. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Dossier of the Spy", citing sources.

According to the report, after launching an offensive in the Avdiivka sector, Russian troops managed to achieve some success north of Avdiivka, near the village of Krasnohorivka: the occupants are making their way to the railroad tracks.

To the south of Avdiivka, Russian troops are trying to seize a sand quarry located north of Opytne. They have not yet succeeded in this.

At the same time, the occupation forces have been suffering abnormally high losses in manpower over the past two weeks. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during this period, Russia lost 12,750 of its soldiers, with an average of about 910 occupiers killed per day. There were also "peak" days in terms of enemy losses. Thus, on October 13, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, 1030 occupants were eliminated, and on October 20 - 1380.

"In order to make sure that these figures are correct or, on the contrary, to refute them, I turned to my contacts who are on the front line in the Avdiivka sector and have direct access to the indicators of losses among the units," the public administrator writes.

According to him, a source in the 21st separate motorized rifle brigade from the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation reported that on October 20 alone, the losses amounted to 113 killed, 169 wounded, and 44 occupants missing.

The 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, stationed in the temporarily occupied Donetsk, lost 89 invaders killed and 205 wounded on the same day.

The 1st separate motorized rifle brigade (temporarily occupied Kalmiuske, formerly Komsomolske in Donetsk region ) lost 67 militants in killed and 166 wounded on October 20.

The 15th separate motorized rifle brigade (Roshchynske, Samara region, Russia) lost 61 militants killed and 118 wounded on the same day.

"It is worth noting that the above are not all the units involved in the hostilities, but only those with whom I have contact. Also, we are constantly replenishing our personnel with soldiers to maintain the combat capability of the units. At the moment, soldiers (former prisoners) are being brought in from the Kupyansk direction. Even if the statistics are not accurate, they are close to the truth," the administrator of the public summarized.

Earlier, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance showed an unsuccessful attempt to break through the occupiers in the Avdiivka sector. Near the village of Krasnohorivka, the invaders tried to break through the Ukrainian defense with a column of armored vehicles, but Ukrainian artillery defeated it in the field, and the surviving "armor" and the occupiers on foot tried to escape under artillery fire.
