Russian missile attack on Mykolaiv: the number of victims increased, children among the wounded

On the evening of July 19, at 17:13, the enemy shelled a residential area of Mykolaiv with an X-59 missile. As of the morning of July 20, it became known that the number of victims of the Russian attack had increased to 4 people.

This was reported by the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Sienkevych, on Telegram. Unfortunately, one of the victims died in the hospital from his injuries.

"Unfortunately, it became known that a man died in hospital. My condolences to his family and friends. As of now, there are already four dead due to the Russian arrival, including a child," Sienkevych said.

Since early morning, public utilities have been working to eliminate the consequences of yesterday's attack on the residential sector in Mykolaiv. They are also distributing the necessary materials to close the broken windows and doors.

"This is just another act of Russian terrorism. Only a Russian terrorist can shell a residential sector when people are leaving work," emphasized the mayor.

Earlier, it was reported that three people were killed - a 13-year-old boy and two women aged 53 and 63.

During the attack, a blast wave and missile fragments damaged nine apartment buildings, a preschool and private cars.

24 people were injured, including four children. Nine adults and two children received outpatient medical care, and two more adults and two children were treated in medical facilities. On the morning of July 20, it became known that one of the victims, who was in the hospital, died.

In addition, according to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, on July 19 at 17:15, the Mishkovo-Pohorilivska community of Mykolaiv region was under missile attack. A hangar on the territory of a farm was damaged, and dry grass caught fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished it. There were no casualties.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops attacked Kharkiv region on the night of July 20. A number of settlements came under enemy shelling, fires broke out at the sites of hits, and infrastructure, administrative buildings, warehouses, a granary, and more than 50 residential buildings were damaged.

As a reminder, on the night of July 20, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles: five regions were targeted, and there were reports of attacks on infrastructure.
