Russian command has ordered its soldiers fighting in Kursk region not to take Ukrainian military prisoners

Press officer emphasized the complexity of the situation

Russians have intensified assault operations with armored vehicles in the Kursk sector, where Ukrainian soldiers of the 1st Separate Siversk Tank Brigade are performing combat missions. The Russian command ordered their subordinates not to take Ukrainian soldiers prisoner.

This was reported by the brigade's press officer Dina Wong during an all-Ukrainian TV marathon. "The enemy has ordered its personnel not to take Ukrainian soldiers prisoner," she said.

Wong emphasized the complexity of the situation in which the Ukrainian military has to work but noted their bravery, as they steadfastly hold positions even in the face of constant enemy assaults.

When an attack begins, the Ukrainian military promptly destroy enemy equipment and personnel using tanks, artillery and drones.

"We know that they are trying to accumulate their infantry. When the assault begins, we immediately target enemy personnel and equipment. Each of our operations is a combination of actions of our tankers, artillery, and UAV operators," emphasized Dina Wong.

As a reminder, it has recently become known that the Russian military executed nine Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Kursk region. The American Institute for the Study of War notes that such cases occur along the entire front line, with Russian command approving them.

As reported, Ukraine has officially recorded more than a hundred executions of Ukrainian soldiers, who surrendered on the battlefield, by Russian occupation forces. These are only confirmed cases. In reality, there are likely much more of them.
