More than 50 private houses were damaged in the Poltava region as a result of hostile shelling on June 7. Yesterday, rescuers pulled a woman out of the rubble of her own home, she was in serious condition. Doctors fought for her life for almost a day, but she died on June 8.
This was reported by Filip Pronin, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration. The medics also helped two people with acute stress reaction.
A total of 70 rescuers and 16 pieces of equipment were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack.
"In their work, the rescuers used video cameras, body cameras, and drones. This made it possible to make online broadcasts to quickly coordinate the actions of the headquarters, analyze the situation at the scene and make appropriate decisions," Pronin said.
At 11:05 a.m. on June 8, Filip Pronin reported that the woman who was pulled out of the rubble of the house by rescuers last night died in hospital. Doctors fought for her life until the last minute.
"My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Every life taken is our common pain," RMA head wrote.
