Russia targets Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs: a service station completely destroyed, ten dead, three children among the 26 wounded. Photo and video
On Friday evening, December 6, aggressor country Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia. The shelling completely destroyed a service station, killing ten people. Another 26 people were injured, including children.
Some communities have reported problems with electricity, said Ivan Fedorov, the head of Regional Military Administration. The explosions in Zaporizhzhia occurred at about 17:58. Before that, the Ukrainian Air Force warned about the danger of Russian UAVs in the region.
As of 18:35, the RMA head informed that a service station was on fire as a result of the enemy's attack on Zaporizhzhia region, with two people killed.
"Some communities have problems with electricity. Ambulance crews have arrived at the scene," Fedorov wrote on his official Telegram channel.
According to him, emergency workers are working at the impactr sites.
As of 19:26, nine people have been reported dead as a result of the Russian strike. Among the victims are two children aged 4 and 11. They suffered shrapnel wounds and head injuries. They are being examined by doctors.
Their lives are not in danger, added Fedorov.
As of 21:00, there were already 20 wounded in Zaporizhzhia. Among them is a 23-year-old man in extremely serious condition. A four-month-old girl was also injured, said the RMA head.
At 22:00 it became known that the number of victims of the Russian attack had increased to ten people. The number of wounded was 24.
And on December 7, according to the We Ukraine TV channel, the number of wounded increased to 25 people.
According to the RMA, a service station was completely destroyed, while five high-rise buildings, eight private houses, a dormitory and a number of shops were damaged by the blast wave and debris.
On Saturday, December 7, a day of mourning was declared in Zaporizhzhia to honor the victims of a Russian attack.
As of 23:25, the rescue operations were completed. The Interior Ministry clarified that eight of the ten people who died were in their cars.
As of 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 26 people have been wounded in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, Fedorov said.
12 people remain in hospitals. Four men are in serious condition. One of them has a traumatic amputation of a limb.
Three children are under medical supervision - an 11-year-old boy with soft tissue injuries, a four-year-old girl with a facial injury and a four-month-old girl with a bruised abdomen.
Doctors assessed their condition as light, said the head of Zaporizhzhia.
As reported, on December 6, Russia also struck Kryvyi Rih. There are three dead and 16 wounded. An administrative building, residential buildings and cars were damaged.
