Russia launched attack drones overnight in Ukraine: Air Defense Forces shot down all 36 Shaheds

"The enemy probably intended to attack critical infrastructure and military facilities in the western regions of the state," the report said.

Units of anti-aircraft missile forces, fighter aviation, mobile firing groups in the areas of responsibility of air commands "South", "Center", "West" and air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repulsing the Russian air attack.

According to the Operational Command "South", during the night air attack the anti-aircraft defense forces shot down three kamikaze drones Shahed-136/131 over the Mykolaiv region and another one over the Odessa region.

It should be noted that this night the air-raid alert covered almost all regions of Ukraine, moreover, in several waves. This is how the enemy tried to attack our cities, launching attack drones. At this time, air defenses were reported in the Kyiv region, as well as in the southern and western regions.

Metropolitan authorities announced that the sky defenders had repelled this enemy air attack - the 12th since the beginning of May specifically against Kyiv. In particular, all Russian drones were shot down and no strikes on the city were allowed.
