Russia fired missiles from Tu-95MS at Ukraine at night, air defense forces were operating. All the details

On the night of June 7, the aggressor state of Russia took to the skies a group of Tu-95MS strategic bombers. They launched X-101 cruise missiles at Ukraine. The city of Bila Tserkva in Kyiv region and Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi region were hit.

According to the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four Tu-95MS took off from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region of the Russian Federation.

Around 03:00, the military noted that the occupiers launched X-101/555/55 missiles from Tu-95s from the Saratov region of the Russian Federation. An air alert was declared throughout Ukraine.

The first missiles hit the Kyiv region and later changed direction to Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, and Ternopil regions.

The enemy attacked the western regions of Ukraine.

At 04:30, the Air Force reported that two groups of X-101 missiles had changed direction and were heading for Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.

Around 05:00, the missile threat was declared over.

The Monitor channel writes that the enemy used:

– X-101/555 cruise missiles launched by four Tu-95s from the Saratov region of Russia;

– attack UAVs of the Shahed type.

Some of the X-101/55 missiles covered the longest distance of about 2055 km (from Saratov region of the Russian Federation to Starokonstantinov) in two hours of flight.

Bila Tserkva and Starokonstantyniv were under attack. The missile attack lasted 2 hours, the UAV attack lasted five hours.

Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, said that a fire broke out at one of the industrial facilities in the region as a result of the enemy attack. There are no casualties.

As a result of the air battle, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all five X-101/X-555 cruise missiles and 48 of the 53 drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine last night. In particular, they were neutralized in Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.

The Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that Russia had deployed three missile launchers to the Black Sea. The total volley of these surface missile carriers is 24 Kalibr missiles. The military urged Ukrainians not to ignore air raid warnings and not to neglect their own safety.

As a reminder, on the night of June 1, the occupiers took six Tu-95MS strategic bombers into the sky. They launched X-101 cruise missiles at Ukraine. In addition, Kalibr missiles were launched from the Black Sea. The enemy was again targeting the energy sector.
