RMA: occupiers shelled residential areas of Kherson, number of wounded

On the morning of July 2, Russian troops from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region struck residential areas of the regional center. They shelled civilian infrastructure and targeted an apartment building.

At least four Kherson residents were injured as a result of the terrorists' actions, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported in Telegram (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the news).

It is noted that first, the occupants hit a pharmacy at a public catering facility in Kherson. Because of this shelling, a 50-year-old man received leg wounds. The medics provided him with assistance.

Later, the RMA added that Russian invaders also shelled a multi-story building in the city, due to which two more civilians were wounded. They were hospitalized.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson district prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to the investigation, the Russian Armed Forces struck residential areas of Kherson around 11:20 on Sunday, July 2. The enemy attacked from the temporarily occupied territory of the region.

"At least four citizens were wounded, two of them due to a targeted strike on a multi-story building. Data on the casualties are being clarified. Debris damaged civilian infrastructure," the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.

At the scene of the war crime, prosecutors together with police investigators carried out the necessary investigative measures.

We remind that on July 1, the Russian Army also struck residential areas of Kherson. One of the enemy shells hit a house, wounding two children, nine and 15 years old.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, a fan of the "Russian world" was filmed in Kherson. The woman, stating that she "does not love Ukraine," grabbed humanitarian aid from Ukrainian volunteers and ran away.
