Photo of the Russian plane's "friendly fire" downing near Tokmak appeared online

Occupants shoot down their own fighter jet near Tokmak

Russian air defense landed its own aircraft in the temporarily occupied territory. A successful hit on the aircraft occurred near Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region.

As a result of "friendly fire," the fighter jet burned down. This is evidenced by images from a reconnaissance drone (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photos).

Russian troops "demilitarized" their Su-35 over Tokmak at night. Interestingly, the crew of the fighter jet was killed on the spot.

It is worth noting that Russian propagandists did not talk about the downing of their own aircraft, as expected. At the same time, the information was leaked online, as some propagandists decided to express "condolences" to the fallen war criminals.

According to the Russian media, the cost of the Su-35 fighter ranges from 98 million to 104 million US dollars.

The first news on Russians allegedly shooting down their Su-35 fighter jet near Tokmak appeared after the night of September 29. Local channels also published videos of how the enemy aircraft was shot down.

As a reminder, on the night of September 28, Russian air defense conducted successful "training" in the area of the temporarily occupied Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia. The invaders shot down their own Su-35 fighter jet.

Earlier, British intelligence estimated that Russia has lost about 90 aircraft in combat since February 2022. However, this is not the only problem the occupiers face. The UK claims that the aircraft remaining in the possession of the aggressor state are reaching the end of their service life much faster than expected.
