Occupiers strengthen filtration measures in their own ranks in Zaporizhzhia: Fedorov explains why

Russian Armed Forces liquidate their soldiers for desertion

The occupiers' command has intensified filtration measures among the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The reason was frequent cases of desertion and "depressed morale".

Therefore, officers are trying to identify and eliminate those soldiers who do not want to fight by force. The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said this during a TV marathon.

According to him, at least five cases of self-liquidation of personnel and equipment of the Russian Armed Forces operating in Zaporizhzhia have been reported over the past week.

One of them was the destruction of Su-35 aircraft by Russian air defense over the temporarily occupied Tokmak. This incident was reported by Ukrainian monitoring resources on September 29, publishing a video.

"The reason for self-destruction is most likely desertion. Today the mood in the ranks of the Russian military is extremely bad, they do not want to fight against our Ukrainian army, which is why they are trying to hide from their leaders and flee from the Zaporizhzhia front line," Fedorov explained.

He added that the enemy has intensified filtering measures to detect such deserters.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, the occupiers organized raids on fellow fugitives in Melitopol. Russian soldiers dress in civilian clothes and flee the front line. However, it doesn't save them from death.
