Occupiers hit Bilopillya in Sumy region: there are dead and wounded

Russian troops shelled Sumy region again on July 17. The center of Bilopillya settlement came under enemy fire.

According to Bilopillya Mayor Yuriy Zarko, as a result of shelling there are dead and wounded, the data on the injured are being clarified. About this he told "Public".

"The Russian military shelled the center of Bilopillya. This was reported to the Public by the mayor of Bilopillya Yuriy Zarko. There are dead and wounded, their number is specified", - notes the edition.

No other information has not yet been given by journalists. However, on his Facebook page Zarko wrote about the shelling of Bilopillya at 12:38.

"The shelling of the city - everyone to take cover!" - urged the mayor at the time.

Back in the morning, the Sumy regional military-civil administration reported that at night the invaders hit nine times on the border settlements of the region. 63 explosions were recorded. Bilopillya, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Druzhba, Khotin communities came under fire.

In particular, Bilopillya was shelled by the enemy with mortars. There were nine explosions in the city.

Kherson came under enemy fire at night, two elderly women needed medical assistance due to an acute reaction to stress. Residential houses of Kherson residents were damaged.

The invaders hit Vovchansk with artillery in the morning of July 17. As a result of shelling private houses were damaged. A 64-year-old local resident received a mine blast injury.
