Occupiers disguise themselves as civilians and run away from the front line in Zaporizhzhia: raids on deserters organized in Melitopol
The number of deserters in the enemy army in Zaporizhzhia is increasing. The occupants are disguising themselves as civilians to escape from the front line, which is why the invaders have organized raids and are looking for them among civilians.
At the same time, more and more attempts to escape from the positions end in death for the invaders. This was reported by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov.
He noted that the number of deserters in the Russian troops is currently increasing. Sometimes, when they try to escape from the front, they find death at the hands of Russians. Two shot-dead deserters were recently found in a village near Melitopol.
"The enemy has more deserters... Two shot-dead Russian soldiers were found, according to reports from the spot. They were deserters who did not want to fight against the Ukrainian Armed Forces as they were afraid. Deserters have also been searched for en masse in Melitopol in recent days because the enemy military are disguised as civilians and are trying to evade service in this way," Fedorov said.
He added that the occupiers also scrutinize every car leaving Melitopol: they are also looking for deserters. Russian special services are inspecting houses where the occupiers lived.
At the same time, xenophobia in the enemy army is flourishing. The "military police" recently beat up Russian Armed Forces servicemen, an Ossetian and a Kabardian, with the slogans "Russia for Russians", in the temporarily occupied Tokmak.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin is trying to curb the growth of deserters by "honorary titles."
"We see a tendency that the enemy's morale is falling. Terrorist Putin, for example, awarded the 58th Army, which is fighting in the Zaporizhzhia direction against our Armed Forces of Ukraine, the title of Guards. However, this will not help them and they will have to leave our temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region," Fedorov said, adding that now the occupiers will flee "with an honorary title."
As a reminder, on the morning of September 27, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the data on Russia's losses in the war against our country. According to the General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 320 occupants and 101 pieces of their equipment the day before.
Russia's irrecoverable losses in manpower during the full-scale invasion have now reached 276,990 people.
