Occupiers began to return to the positions they held before the Kakhovka reservoir was blown up - Gumenyuk
On the left, temporarily occupied coast of Kherson region, the Russian invaders have partially returned to the positions they held before their terrorist attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. At the same time, the occupiers are suffering from intestinal infections and some have been diagnosed with cholera.
This was stated by the head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces in the south of Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk. She spoke on the air of the telethon on July 9.
"Where the water has receded enough, they come back. But this work for them is complicated by their own mining. Because it became spontaneous after the water worked on their mine blast barriers," said the representative of UC South.
On the whole, she described the situation as quite complicated. "Because the enemy, unsuccessfully searching for the direction from which to expect the maximum blow, is trying to bombard settlements along the front line," Humenyuk noted.
She pointed out: the occupiers have recently still reduced the intensity of shelling. "The number of shelling has decreased to 70, while before it was kept at the level of 90", - explained the speaker.
