The occupiers, on the orders of the Kremlin, have strengthened the counterintelligence regime on the administrative border between the temporarily occupied Crimea and the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. In particular, the Chongar checkpoint has been additionally equipped with a system for scanning and monitoring vehicles using X-rays.

Currently, all cars crossing the administrative boundary line are thoroughly inspected, the National Resistance Center reported. This is especially true for cars with registration plates from Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, both Ukrainian and Russian-imposed.

The CNS noted that the occupiers pay special attention to the control of roads and railways in this direction, as it provides support to the group of troops on the TOT of Crimea and the occupiers on the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions.

According to the activists, after the occupation of the southern regions of Ukraine, the Russians did not remove their checkpoints from the administrative border with Crimea – the Russian special services used them to "filter" civilians.

As a reminder, activists of the Atesh military guerrilla movement have established that Russian troops are repelling attacks by Ukrainian maritime drones in Crimea, in particular, with Grad multiple rocket launchers. One such multiple-launch rocket system was spotted in the bay of temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
