A total of three people were wounded
Russian troops shelled the village of Virivka and dropped explosives from a drone in Beryslav, Kherson region. Three people were injured in the attacks, including a minor girl.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. According to the investigation, on 18 August, at about 11 am, the occupiers fired on the village of Verivka in the Tyahyn community.
A minor girl was wounded as a result of the shelling.
According to the head of the Beryslav district military administration, Volodymyr Lytvynov, the victim is 17 years old and was hospitalised. In addition, the shelling damaged about ten residential buildings.
At around 2pm, the enemy dropped explosives from a drone near a private house in Beryslav. Two local residents who were on the street sustained leg injuries and were hospitalised.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), the Prosecutor General's Office said.
