Air defense forces shot down a Shahed over Shepetivka district

It should be noted that the air alert in the region was announced from 04:34 to 05:43 due to the Russian drone attack. The regional military administration warned that a Shahed drone had been spotted flying in the sky of Khmelnytskyi region. Later, explosions were heard in Shepetivka district.

"Air defense forces are working. Stay in shelters," Tyurin said at the time.

After the alarm was lifted again, he noted that during the enemy attack with strike UAVs, air defense forces were working in the area.

"As a result of their downing, the wreckage fell on the territory of the former plant. No one was injured. There was no fire. Damage is being assessed. We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the defense of the sky over Khmelnytsky region," the official emphasized.
