Occupants are trying to seize Chasovyi Yar, Klishchiyivka and Kalynivka in Donetsk Oblast: Khortytsia military unit reports on the situation

Russian troops are trying to expand their advance in Donetsk region towards Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. Fighting is taking place in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Klishchiyivka, and Kalynivka, which the enemy is trying to take control of.

This was reported by Nazar Voloshyn, spokesman for the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops, to LIGA.net. According to him, the occupiers are trying to expand the geography of their advance.

Fighting is currently ongoing in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Klishchiyivka, and Kalynivka.

"The enemy is trying to capture these settlements to expand the geography of its advance towards Kramatorsk and Sloviansk... The enemy is actively conducting artillery attacks, air strikes, and using drones on the outskirts of Chasovyi Yar," said Nazar Voloshyn.

He added that the enemy is using artillery strikes, drops from kamikaze drones, and ZALA Lancet barrage munitions to cover its assault units.

In total, the enemy fired 1286 times at the positions of Ukrainian defenders with various weapons in the Chasovyi Yar area last week and dropped 128 UAVs.

As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders in the Kramatorsk sector prevented ten enemy attempts to break through the defense in the areas of Klishchiyivka, Novyi, and Chasovyi Yar over the past day.

Earlier, the enemy began to storm Chasovyi Yar from the Toretsk direction. The occupiers are resorting to mechanized assaults on the city, throwing Storm V units in and trying to outflank the city.

The other day in Chasovyi Yar, the Ukrainian Armed Forces drove the occupiers out of the Kanal neighborhood, said Nazar Voloshyn.
