A service station was completely destroyed in a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on Friday, December 6. The blast wave and debris also damaged more than ten apartment and private buildings, a dormitory, and several shops.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov on December 7. He also showed a video filmed at the impact sites, where people work to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
"A service station was destroyed as a result of Friday's enemy attack. The blast wave and debris damaged 5 high-rise buildings, 8 private houses, a dormitory and a number of shops," said Fedorov.
He added that all relevant services continue their work.
According to Fedorov, as of 11:30 a.m. on December 7, 12 residents of Zaporizhzhia who were wounded the day before remained in hospitals.
"Four men are in serious condition. One of them has a traumatic amputation of a limb. Three children are under medical supervision - an 11-year-old boy with soft tissue injuries, a 4-year-old girl with a facial injury, and a four-month-old girl with a bruised abdomen. Doctors assess their condition as light," added the RMA head.
Meanwhile, the total number of wounded increased to 26 people.
As a reminder, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs the day before. It is known about 10 dead (eight of them were in their cars) and more than 20 wounded, including a little girl and a 23-year-old man.
On Saturday, December 7, Zaporizhzhia and the region announced the day of mourning to honor the Ukrainians killed by Russia in the regional center.
