Will not be affected by electronic warfare: Ukraine has developed a strike and reconnaissance electric UAV Jupiter Hunter-1. Photo
Ukraine has developed the Jupiter Hunter-1, a silent electric strike and reconnaissance drone that is not afraid of electronic warfare and jamming. It can be used for aerial surveillance, reconnaissance, forensics, aerial photography, and cooperation with ground forces.
Thanks to its fixed wing and vertical takeoff/landing capability, this drone does not require a runway, which guarantees effective operation in difficult terrain and in areas with high population density. This drone was developed by the DEFENDER.ARMY group of companies.
It can carry up to four rounds of ammunition in one flight using a universal load-dropping mechanism. The average cost of such a drone is about $50 thousand.
Its FHSS fast-action mode avoids the effects of electronic warfare and jamming. In propeller mode, it maintains stable flight in both orientation and hover modes. With a payload of 10 kg, the drone can operate for 1.5 hours, flying at a distance of 150 km. With a payload of 2 kg, the operating time increases to 3.5 hours and the flight distance to 350 km. The maximum radio control range is 150 km, and when using the Starlink system, it is unlimited.
