New "cotton"? Explosions in occupied Berdiansk, Mariupol and Melitopol

On March 27, cotton was heard again in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia. This time, the sounds of explosions were heard simultaneously in Berdiansk, Melitopol, and Mariupol.

This was reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko. The occupants claimed that air defense was operating.

"Explosions occurred at the same time in Berdiansk, Melitopol, and Mariupol. The occupiers claimed that air defense was working. And we light a candle to St. Cotton and start looking for the consequences. Good," Andriushchenko wrote.

According to local Telegram channels, the explosion in Mariupol probably took place in the central district of the city.

The head of the Berdiansk city military administration, Viktoriia Halitsyna, said that the explosion was heard throughout the city's upland area. At the same time, in Melitopol, the occupiers claimed that air defense was active and called on the locals to take cover.

Earlier it was reported that on March 22, 2024, in Melitopol (Zaporizhzhia region), the occupiers and their equipment were destroyed as a result of explosions. The operation was carried out by Ukrainian intelligence and the local resistance movement.
