Atesh military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars continues to recruit Russian occupiers into its ranks. They manage to undermine the offensive potential of Putin's army and obtain intelligence about the enemy's intentions.

Currently, more than 2,000 guerrilas are operating throughout the occupied territories and in Russia itself. This is stated in the material of The Telegraph.

One of its agents operating in the ranks of the Russian occupation army shared how he burned down the trenches of his army in the Kherson region. The conscript said that in July, he set fire to his unit's trench on the left bank of the Dnipro River, causing it to spread to the dugout of a neighboring unit. While the occupiers tried to extinguish the fire and save food and weapons supplies, the fire spread over a large area and many of the invaders were burned. The agent said he would do everything possible to continue his work against the Kremlin regime.

The Atesh guerrilla group cooperates with Ukrainian intelligence as well as other resistance movements, relying on locals and much more on Russian soldiers themselves. The dozens of Russians drawn into a war they did not want to fight have become a valuable asset to the guerrillas.

A representative of Atesh movement said that since the beginning of the war, a number Russian soldiers have joined them, helping to gather information both on the front lines and in the rear in Crimea and Russia. Now there is a significant increase in the number of Russian soldiers joining the ranks of Atesh. They are an important tool in supporting the struggle, performing crucial sabotage and reconnaissance tasks.

On the battlefield, the Russians provide information on troop movements, weapons and ammunition supplies, and the location of commanders and command posts. At airfields, they report on the type, number, and condition of aircraft, as well as air defense systems, flight schedules, and fuel and ammunition depots.

Another Russian soldier recruited by the guerrillas works at an air base several hundred kilometers from the Ukrainian border. He helps to track the movement of aircraft and the supply of weapons. The airfield, which the agent describes as "one of the largest combat-ready airfields in Russia," is home to some of Russia's most advanced fighter jets, which are used regularly to launch missile strikes on Ukrainian cities.

"Here, I act as the eyes and ears for Atesh. It’s risky work that I know carries a charge of treason and decades in prison. But I understand what is evil and what is good. Unfortunately, my country has chosen the path of evil. Military counterintelligence is constantly active here, and they are aware of potential information leaks from this airfield. In my opinion, I am not the only one helping the Ukrainian side here," the agent said.

Instead, the occupied Crimea remains the main place of activity for Atesh agents. On the seized peninsula, Ukraine has intensified its campaign to make Crimea unusable for Russian troops. A representative of the group said that the largest Atesh action involving a Russian soldier was the destruction of the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol.

Atesh said that one of its agents inside the fleet provided details of a planned meeting of the fleet's leadership, which Ukraine used to calculate the time of its strike. Today, one of the main tasks of the guerrillas is to liberate Crimea completely.

As a reminder, recently, an Atesh agent, who serves in the Russian army, conducted a successful sabotage in Donetsk region. He burned down a Russian BRDM amphibious armoured scout car.

Earlier, Atesh scouted the 17th Arsenal of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. It provides naval units and formations with the necessary materials and ammunition during operations.

The guerrillas also recorded the transportation of missiles for the S-300 air defense system in Crimea. According to Atesh activists, this indicates that the Russian Armed Forces are preparing for a possible massive attack on military facilities on te peninsula, forcing them to strengthen their defense.
