Most Ukrainians expect assistance from partner countries in strengthening our country's defense capabilities. In addition, Ukrainians expect security guarantees.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Foundation for Democratic Initiatives in cooperation with the Center for Political Sociology on June 5-15, 2023

"According to the results of the survey, 70.7% of respondents believe that partner countries should take steps to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability and security guarantees. 56% of respondents see partners' help in supporting the Ukrainian economy, 54.3% in restoring Ukraine's energy infrastructure." 51.1% of respondents would like to isolate and punish Russia for aggression, 38.7% are in favor of steps by partner countries to support refugees from Ukraine and 36.6% in the fight against corruption and oligarchs," the survey says.

It is noted that the role of partner countries in overcoming corruption Ukrainians in the survey is less, but this is probably due to the wording of the question about the assistance expected just now.

"In general, the governments of partner countries and international organizations have played a constructive role to build the infrastructure of anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine after 2014 by applying the policy of providing financial assistance against the Ukrainian government's commitment to implement reforms. Such practice looks appropriate in the future during international assistance to Ukraine for reconstruction," the report said.
