More than 500 residents of Oleshki died because occupants blew up the Kakhovka HPP: the invaders refused to evacuate them - Center of national resistance

Almost two weeks after the terrorist attack by Russian occupants at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant in the Kherson region, the horrific consequences of the war crime are beginning to be discovered. According to preliminary data, more than 500 civilians were killed in the town of Oleshki on the left bank of the Kherson region as a result of the attack.

It is worth noting that Russian troops refused to evacuate local residents. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance.

According to the CNR, the Russian invaders were engaged in a partial evacuation - only people with so-called Russian passports were taken out of the flooded area. In fact, the Russians left hundreds of Ukrainians to die, in part because they refused to obtain fake passports of the Russian terrorist state.

"The Russians in the temporarily occupied territories did not evacuate people without Russian passports. Violating all norms of international humanitarian law and common humanity, the Russians simply condemned the locals to death," the report reads.

The actions of the Russian terrorists against the civilian population of Ukraine have all the hallmarks of genocide, and anyone who has joined in the mockery of the Ukrainians must be justly punished.

The National Resistance Center appeals to the local population with a request to report the available information about the persons involved in the bombing of the Kakhovka HPP or the abuse of civilians in the temporarily occupied territory to the Telegram bot.

As a reminder, the international agency Reuters published photos with the bodies of those killed in occupied Hola Prystan in the Kherson region as a result of the flood that engulfed the city after Russian terrorists blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. The high-profile photos show that people simply drowned in their houses, having been taken away after the water had drained away.

- On June 18, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that after the flooding, which occurred as a result of the bombing of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by the Russian occupants, 23 settlements remain flooded in Kherson region: 6 on the right bank of the Kherson region and 17 on the left bank. Also partially flooded 18 settlements of the Mykolaiv region.
