Military couple with child killed in Odesa, two more children may be under rubble - media

A large military family was killed in a Russian terrorist attack in Odesa. Rescuers found a man with his wife and one child under the rubble.

Two more of their children are missing. This was reported by the Suspilne news media outlet.

The media, citing close friends of the victims, reported that the bodies of Oleh and Tetyana Kravets, as well as their seven-month-old daughter Liza, were found under the rubble. Two other children are still missing.

An acquaintance of the deceased family said that Oleh and Tetiana were military men, they met while serving. Later, the woman resigned to take care of their newborn daughter. It is also known that the man was the last son of his parents - his brother Yevhen was killed in the ATO zone in 2014.

The media reported that the deceased girl, Liza, was the only child of the couple, and she turned seven months old on February 29. Tatyana had three other children from a previous marriage, two of whom, nine-year-old Serhiy and eight-year-old Zlata, are still being searched for under the rubble.

"He took her with the three children, and they gave birth to Lizonka. The eldest boy, Volodymyr, went to Raukhivka to live with his grandparents and survived, but three died: a child they had together and two from their first marriage," said a friend of the victims.

Another friend of the victims told reporters that the SES officers were trying to find one of the spouses. At the time of the strike, the man, his wife and young daughter were in the bedroom. The rescuers went upstairs to the surviving part of the apartment, calling for them, but it was obvious that they had not survived.

On the night of March 2, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 17 drones. Air defense forces shot down 14 of them.

In Odesa, a Shahed hit a residential high-rise building and destroyed the entire entrance. As of 9 a.m., at least ten people were reported dead.

Among the victims are three children: boys aged 3 and 4 months, and an 8-month-old girl. In particular, a 4-month-old baby died with his mother. A three-year-old boy was killed with his father, and the child's mother was hospitalized in intensive care in serious condition. Another mother and child were found under the rubble on the morning of March 3.
