Lithuania donates stationary diesel generators to Ukraine

Lithuania has handed over a new military aid package to Ukraine. This time, it includes generators, field tents, and dry rations.

This was reported by the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense on Friday, November 17. The ministry noted that Lithuania will firmly adhere to its commitments to support Ukraine.

The Defense Ministry also published a photo of the aid sent.

According to the Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas, Russians will start destroying Ukraine's critical infrastructure again in winter.

"Therefore, in response to Ukraine's urgent needs for support, Lithuania has purchased generators and other equipment needed by Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield, especially in cold weather," the minister said.

The ministry also described the generators that were handed over to Ukraine.

These are 160 kW stationary diesel generators designed to generate electricity and provide it to facilities in areas where power lines are unavailable or there are interruptions in their operation.

Such a generator can operate continuously for at least 8 hours at full load, it is protected from environmental influences and can operate at temperatures ranging from -30 below zero to +40 above zero.
