"It's impossible to watch this footage with a cold heart": the network was shocked by the video of a rescuer whose father was killed by Russia in Kharkiv

The Internet was shocked by footage from the scene of a Russian attack in Kharkiv. A young rescuer Volodymyr was crying on the ruins where a Russian "shahed" killed his father, 52-year-old rescuer Vladyslav Lohinov.

The heartbreaking footage was posted on Telegram by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko. The official noted that the deceased rescuer devoted his life to working in the fire service, and his son followed in his footsteps.

"It is impossible to watch this footage with a cold heart," Klymenko said.

The minister said that Volodymyr worked as a guard chief at a neighboring fire station. After the first explosions in Kharkiv on the night of April 4, the father and son and their colleagues immediately went to the site of the strike.

"Vladyslav and Volodymyr were working next to each other, just a few houses away. When there was a powerful explosion, the son immediately realized that it was most likely to hit where his father was," Klymenko said.

He added that it is difficult to imagine the feelings of a man who saw his father's bloody body. The Minister expressed his sincere condolences to the family of the fallen Hero.

As a reminder, Klymenko showed a photo of the rescue heroes who died in Kharkiv during an attack by Russian "shahed ". The enemy took the lives of Lohinov Vladyslav, Baidalinov Serhiy, and Matiushenko Volodymyr. The occupiers cynically attacked the brigade that came to save lives.

– A video of the moment of Russia's second strike on Kharkiv, which killed rescuers, was posted online. Such a vile and insidious tactic of the enemy army used in a peaceful city of millions, is an undoubted war crime.
