On Tuesday, May 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy S-400 Triumph SAM control centre in the Kherson region. HIMARS MLRS was used during the operation.

This was reported by the Telegram channel "Dossier of the Spy". According to the source, his is the first case of the defeat of the 55K6E combat control centre, confirmed by photographic evidence.

"Here is a photo of the damage to the combat control centre of the S-400 Triumph air defence system," the message says.

The source said that the incident occurred during an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on temporary weapons storage facilities in the Kherson region.

"HIMARS MLRS was used. 20 days of May 2023," the statement added.

The S-400 ("Triumph") is a Russian long- and medium-range air defence missile system, a new generation SAM. The system is designed to defeat all modern and advanced air and space attack vehicles, including reconnaissance aircraft, strategic and tactical aircraft, tactical, operational and tactical ballistic missiles, medium-range ballistic missiles, hypersonic targets, jammers, radar surveillance and targeting aircraft, and others. Each SAM can simultaneously fire at up to 80 targets (with 8 SAMs) and guide up to 160 missiles.
