General Staff: operational situation in the east and south remains difficult as 57 military clashes occured during the day

As of 18:00 on Tuesday, November 14, 57 combat engagements took place at the frontline in Ukraine. The General Staff of the Armed Forces stated that the operational situation in the east and south remains difficult.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces published a new report on the 629th day of Russia's full-scale invasion on Facebook. Four missile and 42 enemy air strikes were recorded during the day.

The occupiers fired from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas 26 times. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged, and there were dead residents.

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remains unchanged. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Some units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

The enemy maintains a military presence in the border area in the Seversk and Slobozhansk directions, as well as conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border. About 15 villages and towns have been subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks, including Kliusy, Senkivka and Hremiach in the Chernihiv region; Volfyne, Veselivka and Turia in the Sumy region; and Veterynarne, Starytsia and Budarky in the Kharkiv region.

The Russian Armed Forces conducted assault operations in the areas of Synkivka and Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region in the Kupiansk direction. Our troops repelled seven attacks there. The enemy launched air strikes near the settlements of Vilshana and Cherneshchyna. Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka and Berestove came under artillery and mortar fire.

The invaders conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Nadiia and Serebryanske forestry in the Luhansk region in the Lyman direction. They carried out air strikes near Pishchane in te Luhansk region and Serebryanka, Siversk and Spirne in the Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected about 10 settlements, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Torske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

The occupants conducted assault operations near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Bakhmut direction, where our defenders repelled 10 attacks. The enemy launched an air strike near Klishchiivka. Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka came under artillery and mortar fire.

The enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the Avdiivka direction near Severne, Tonenke, Vodiane and east of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks. They carried out air strikes near Arkhanhelske, Novokalynove, Lastochkyne and Avdiivka. They shelled more than 10 localities with artillery and mortars, including Keramik, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne and Pervomaiske.

The invaders, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region in the Maryinka direction. Our troops repelled 18 attacks there. Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Heorhiivka, Peremoha, Novomykhailivka and Antonivka came under artillery and mortar fire.

The enemy conducted an assault near Staromaiorske in the Shakhtarsk direction but was unsuccessful. They launched an air strike near Urozhaine. Artillery and mortar attacks hit about 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.

Russian troops launched air attacks on Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhya direction. More than 25 localities came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Robotyne, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Pyatikhatky, Lobkove and Plavni in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Novoberisl and Beryslav in the Kherson direction. Kherson, Osokorivka, Shliakhove, Beryslav and Olhivka in the Kherson region came under artillery fire.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to conduct an offensive operation in Melitopol and Bakhmut directions, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

Over the past day, our aviation conducted 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment. Air defense also destroyed two Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones and one X-59 guided missile.

The missile troops hit six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a command center, 17 artillery pieces, three air defense systems and an enemy fuel and lubricant depot.

- Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that fierce fighting is now taking place near Kupiansk and north and south of Bakhmut.

- According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the enemy has increased the number of attacks in a number of areas, including Avdiivka, Kupiansk and Donetsk.
