Fighting continues for Vovchansk in Kharkiv region, enemy tries to break through in Chasovyi Yar area – General Staff
As of 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 48 combat engagements have already taken place in Ukraine. The enemy tried to advance on nine frontlines.
At night and in the morning on Thursday, there were five air strikes (11 drones) and 614 attacks on the positions of our defenders. The enemy also used 38 kamikaze drones. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a new summary on the 855th day of the large-scale Russian invasion.

Over the past day, 148 combat engagements were recorded. The enemy launched one missile attack (using one rocket), 51 air strikes (74 UAVs), and over 3,000 attacks (including 127 from multiple rocket launchers) against the positions of our troops and populated areas.
The Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops and artillery struck three occupants' control points, one air defense facility, two ammunition depots, and 15 areas where Russian Armed Forces personnel were concentrated.
In total, the invaders' losses over the past day amounted to 1,260 people, three tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, five air defense systems, 24 air defense UAVs, 61 vehicles, and 11 units of special equipment.

At night, the Russians launched another massive air strike. The defense forces destroyed all 23 Shahed attack UAVs and five of the enemy's six missiles.
A total of 48 combat engagements took place in the frontline. In the Kharkiv sector, an enemy assault on the city of Vovchansk continued. The situation is under control.
Over the previous day, enemy losses in the Kharkiv sector amounted to 150 servicemen, three artillery systems, an air defense system, and six vehicles. One tank, one artillery system, two air defense systems, and two vehicles were also damaged.
In the Kupiansk sector, there were four firefights in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Stelmakhivka, and Andriivka. Two aggressor's assault actions (as of 10:30 a.m.) were still ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two attacks in the vicinity of Kopanok and Nevske.
Four attacks took place in the Siverskyi sector. Three of them, near Spirne and Rozdolivka, were unsuccessful. One firefight (near Rozdolivka) was still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russia has not abandoned its intentions to break through in the area of Chasovyi Yar. Two assault operations continued.
The situation in the Toretsk sector is tense. The aggressor is active in the areas of Toretsk, Pivnichne, and Zalizne. An attack near Druzhba was repelled by our defenders.
The situation in the Pokrovsk sector is tense. The occupants have already attacked here 13 times. Nine of them were successfully repelled, and the fighting continued.
On Wednesday, the enemy lost 245 servicemen and two artillery systems in this sector. One tank was damaged.
Eight firefights took place in the Kurakhove sector, in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka.
Vremivsk direction. The enemy attacked near Kostyantynivka.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the occupants stormed the area of Mala Tokmachka without success.
In other areas, the invaders have not yet conducted active operations. "Thanks to the flexibility of our defense system and the coordination of the units' actions, Ukrainian soldiers are confidently holding their positions and destroying the occupiers," the General Staff assured.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, Dmytro Kozhubenko, an officer of the planning section of the Rubizh brigade of the National Guard, said that about a month ago, the Russian military tried to storm our positions in a Zhiguli. The car had no doors so that the enemy infantry could quickly disembark, but this trick did not bring success to the enemy.
