Explosions heard in Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi: Russian missile attacks continue

Air raid alert declared in Ukraine on December 14

At 3 :35 p.m. on December 14, Ukraine once again declared an air raid alert. During the alert, explosions were heard in the capital and the Khmelnytskyi region.

At 3:45 p.m., the Air Force reported that missiles had been launched and specified the direction of the missiles, namely towards Kyiv. And at 15:46, an explosion was heard in Kyiv, as confirmed by OBOZ.UA correspondents.

The Air Force also reported that three enemy targets were flying towards Starokostiantyniv. At 15:49, local Telegram channels reported the sounds of explosions in the Khmelnytskyi region.

At 15:49, the Air Force wrote that the missiles were in Zhytomyr region, heading west. Residents of Rivne and Lutsk were urged to take shelter.

At 4:15 p.m., Ukraine announced that the threat from the MiG-31K was over. However, the activity of enemy tactical aviation in the south and east continued. Thus, there was a threat to the regions in which air alert remained in effect. At 16:18, this concerned Kropyvnytskyi, Kherson and Donetsk regions.

Later, the first deputy head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tiurin, confirmed that the enemy had attacked Khmelnytskyi with missiles twice.

"During the air raid alert (2:09 - 2:57 pm), an explosion occurred in Starokostyanyniv Amalgamated Territorial Community (ATC) of Khmelnytskyi district. Later, during the next air raid (15:36 - 16:15), an explosion also occurred in the area of Myroliubnenska ATC of Khmelnytskyi district. Relevant services are working at the sites where the missiles fell," Tiurin said.

He noted that no casualties or damage were reported in either case.

In the evening, the whole of Ukraine turned red again. Russian terrorists launched Kinzhal missiles from the east. The Ukrainian Air Force called on the residents of Vinnytsia to take cover.

As a reminder, during the second large-scale alert, which began around 2 p.m, on Thursday, December 14, Russian terrorists launched missiles at Starokonstiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.

Earlier, it was reported that on December 14, Ukraine announced a large-scale air alert just a few minutes before the start of a "direct line" and a press conference with dictator Vladimir Putin in Russia. The aggressor country sent a MiG-31K into the sky.
