Each with 75 kg of explosives: the DIU showed long-range drones used to attack Russian military targets. Video

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the use of strike UAVs has significantly improved

Ukrainian intelligence officers showed long-range drones used to strike military targets in Russia. Each drone is capable of carrying 75 kilograms of explosives, which makes them a powerful weapon in the fight against the aggressor.

The corresponding story was published by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. In the report, the commander of the group of operators of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine told about a complex and thorough process of preparation for each mission.

In particular, intelligence officers analyze the goals, ways to achieve them, as well as assess the work of enemy air defense and electronic warfare systems.

"Preparation is carried out in several stages. First of all, we analyze the targets, the possibility of reaching them, analyze the enemy's air defense and electronic warfare systems to find corridors to get through. Over the last year, it has been extremely difficult to do this, but we still manage to do it," explained the commander of the long-range UAV operators group of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the use of strike UAVs has significantly improved. According to the scouts, their group was among the first to launch long-range drones.

"We are the group that was the first to launch almost all long-range drones and those that came before them. We can see the dynamics - now we can hit targets at a distance of 2,000 kilometers," the scout noted.

After a thousand days of full-scale war with Russia, Ukraine has its own long-range capabilities. Targets in Russia are already being hit by long-range Ukrainian-made drones, more strikes by Ukraine's "long" Neptune missiles are on the way, and recently, Russians have to be afraid of American ATACMS.

The Swedish government will allocate funds for the production of Ukrainian long-range drones based on the Danish model. Joint actions were agreed with Defense Minister Paul Johnson during Rustem Umerov's working visit to Sweden.
