Drones attacked the Millerovo airfield 200 kilometers from the front and caused a fire: Media provide evidence

On the night of September 29, Ukrainian drones could have attacked the Russian Millerovo airfield in Rostov Oblast, where enemy tactical aircraft are based. The NASA Firms monitoring system detected a fire on and near the airfield.

At the same time, the Kremlin propagandists and the Russian Ministry of Defense claim different numbers of UAVs. This was reported by the Defense Express portal.

The Millerovo airfield, located 200 km from the current front line, could have come under attack by long-range drones. On the afternoon of September 29, a monitoring system detected a fire near the airfield, which could have been the result of a UAV strike.

Analysts note that it is too early to talk about the effectiveness of the attack. Moreover, we should not rule out the fact that, given the long time it took for the UAV to reach the target, the occupiers were able to take off from the airfield.

It is worth noting that Kremlin propagandists claimed that more than 20 drones were attacked, all of which were allegedly shot down. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports different numbers. The terrorist agency said that 18 drones were allegedly shot down within the Rostov region, 13 of them directly in the Millerovsky district.

As a reminder, on the night of September 29, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed another large Russian ammunition depot, this time in the Volgograd region. The enemy arsenal near the town of Kotluban, hundreds of kilometers from Ukraine, was hit thanks to a joint operation by the DIU, the SOF, the SBU, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Armed Forces, which launched about 120 drones of various types.

As previously reported, on September 29, it became known that explosions were heard in seven regions of Russia at night, and Russian publics and local chats were flooded with photos and videos of fires from various regions where cotton has now blossomed.
