"Distraction": Girkin from Russian prison gives his version of events in Kursk region
Convicted war criminal and former head of the "DPR" Igor Girkin (Strelkov), who is currently serving a sentence in a colony in the Kirov region, decided to give his interpretation of the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region. The terrorist believes that this is a maneuver to divert attention and that the main blow will allegedly fall on the Ukrainian Crimea captured by Russia.
Girkin's words were reported from a Russian prison by his wife. In her Telegram channel, she quoted a fragment of a letter from her husband.
In particular, according to the terrorist, Ukraine allegedly intends to use Western F-16 fighters for targets in the occupied Ukrainian Crimea.
"As for the situation at the front: I am following closely. I believe that the strike in the Kursk region is a distraction. We should expect the second – the main one, in which they will involve their other reserves and aviation (F-16). Most likely, in the Crimean direction," Girkin said.
