The Russian military in the temporarily occupied Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, together with representatives of the local "administration," are organizing raids to identify homes whose owners have not submitted title documents. The invaders will confiscate the "ownerless" property and probably transfer it to Russian migrants.

This was reported by the National Resistance Center. The Russians plan to achieve the goal of "closing the issue" with the property of Ukrainians who left to escape the war by August 16.

It is noted that members of the "commission" post announcements with the content "the premises have signs of ownerlessness" and appeal to residents of the houses to provide them with housing documents. Otherwise, they threaten to "take measures" against such property from August 16.

The NRC assumes that Ukrainians' housing will be transferred to Russians as part of the "colonization policy".

"Such actions of the occupation authorities only indicate a desire to continue the genocidal practice of changing the ethnic composition of the population on the territory of Ukraine," the NRC noted.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

- The occupiers convicted a resident of the occupied Yakymivka, Zaporizhzhia region, Oksana Ivanchenko for "high treason". The Ukrainian woman was accused of allegedly passing information about the location of Russian troops and equipment in the city to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the spring of 2023.

- The Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported that the occupiers had taken children from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region to Novosibirsk region. There they are being held in a "tent military-patriotic camp" of Putin's "youth army", and the occupiers are teaching them tactical, firearms, and drill training.
